Job Role/Description:-
• Preparing and reviewing Management Accounts• Overseeing book-keeping processes• Working with various taxes (Corporation Tax, Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, VAT, PAYE, etc)• Tax planning• Liaising with HMRC• Timetabling/setting budgets• Training and mentoring Junior staff• Promoting the Practice through LinkedIn, Networking events, etc
Ideal Candidate Skillset:-
The ideal candidate must be sufficiently qualified, experienced and confident enough to work alone, whilst also ensuring they work and communicate well with other staff at different levels within the organisation. A “can do” attitude and an ability to lead and influence decision-making is essential, as is the confidence and ability to challenge existing processes to drive continuous improvement.
• Essential: 5+ years Practice experience• Essential: ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)• Essential: Strong IT skills (including SAGE, Quickbooks, IRIS systems)• Essential: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)• Desirable: Audit Experience would be a strong advantage• Desirable: Confident in a client-facing role• Desirable: Strong working knowledge of Statutory Disclosure requirements
